Wordscapes Cheat Help

  • Enter your game rack letters into the first Enter Letters box
    • Use '#' or '-' as blank tiles, which will match on any letter and are shown in red so you can identify how to type them into your game.
    • Clear (X) and Add (#) buttons on the sides of the input areas are clickable for clearing the input area or for adding blanks and wildcards.
  • Optional Board Letters input pattern helps you fit words onto letters already played:
    • Unscrambles words with Rack Letters plus the Board Letters
    • Board Letters lets you input played letters & open game squares- just input playable board spaces as '?' or '_'
    • Use the Match at drop down selector on the left side (defaults to Contains) that filters on board letters pattern at your choice of: Start -or- End -or- Contains -or- Exact (for crosswords)
    • Example 1: To find words that can fit across the y of 'you', just select Contains and type in y
    • Example 2: To find words starting with a & 3rd letter p, select Start and input board pattern as a ? p
    • The blue Clear (X) and Add ? buttons are clickable shortcuts for mobile devices
    • Click Search to see results
  • Click Toggle Advanced Options for additional settings:
    • Use Word List selection to change the dictionary (default is ENABLE2K)
    • Scoring sets the scoring values by type of game
    • Set the Min Length from 2 to 15 letters
    • Choose Sort By options as A-z, Length or Points
    • Capital Letters = Required ? means all returned words MUST have at least those capitalized letters
      • 'Cats' will find only words with 'c' somewhere in them
      • 'Cats' would return 'acts, cast, cats and scat' but not 'sat, as, at'
      • Multiple capitals can be used: 'CaTs' would require both 'c' and 't' somewhere
      • This is used either with or without a Board Pattern for fitting across parallel words or to fit high scoring letters within score multiplier spots
      • On cell phones, be careful since they may capitalize first letters in the Letters and Board input areas
  • Note: for bonus words, do not enter a Board Pattern
  • Words found will be shown above or overlaid in front of this Help section

A2z Wordscapes Cheat isn’t just a simple word search helper, but rather a total Wordscapes Helper solution. A2z Wordscapes Solver will unscramble high scoring words from these letters within A2z's Word Chums Dictionary. Every set of search results is sorted by length or by points. Just let it solve for unscrambled words hidden in your letters! If you form a word that isn’t in the puzzle, but it is a real, recognizable word, you will receive bonus points for the bonus word. Bonus words are a great way to boost your score. Once all of the blanks in the puzzle table are filled in, you win and can move on to the next level. As you reach higher levels, your word wheel will become larger, and you’ll need to create more words by stringing together more letters.

You can also use an optional board match pattern that adds extra word generator power to fit your letter tiles onto words already played. If you need to play a high scoring letter in a certain place, like into bonus spots, you can use the Board Pattern field area to fit words across them for high scores! If you’re stuck on a short word, try using an abbreviation. Wordscapes only allows words that are formally in the dictionary. So, no slang words are permitted. But, they do allow for some abbreviations, including words like “demo” or “pro.” Think about the shorter versions of some common words if you’re having trouble completing your crossword puzzles.

Another easy trick? Pluralize your words whenever possible. Simply by adding an ‘S’ onto the end of a word, you can create an entirely new word. Even if it isn’t included in the puzzle, it will still be counted as a bonus word for more points. If you have an ‘S’ in your letter wheel, use it to your advantage as often as you can.
